Destinée Cherche Propriétaire by Stéphanie Saadé follows the exhibition of the same name (2018) and the residency (2017 – 2018) at the Maison Salvan from which it was partly inspired.

The artistic residency is a springboard for young artists, providing them with a studio and tools. Sometimes taking place in schools far from large cities, it offers a cultural contribution to which children and young people would not otherwise have such easy access, and also allows them to discover the profession of artist and the creative process, which is rarely considered as a real profession by the uninitiated.

Stéphanie Saadé’s work here focuses on memory and the notion of remembrance, part of which she is working on in partnership with primary school children as part of her residency.
