Inge Meijer | Wallpaper

In our show with Inge Meijer in 2021, the walls of AKINCI were wallpapered with the Plant Collection (2016-ongoing); a wallpaper of archival photographs from the Stedelijk Museum – a documentation of the plants that stood alongside the artworks in the museum between 1945 and 1983. In 2019, Inge Meijer published her acclaimed book, The Plant Collection, in collaboration with Roma Publications. The plants of the Stedelijk Museum were maintained by Mr. H. J. Van der Ham, who took care of this special “collection”.
